Pattern Change / Drier and Colder

Summary

Our progressive snowfall pattern will sadly come to an end on Tuesday as a ridge builds in the Gulf of Alaska. This ridge will draw a NW flow of unseasonably cold and dry air, but isolated flurries are possible Weds through Friday as minor disturbances ride over the ridge. The ridge strengthens over the weekend, blocking any Pacific storms from entering the Rockies through next Tuesday.
