Cold and Dry Thurs / Light Snow Fri PM / Warmer This Weekend

Summary

A ‘rogue’ pulse of moisture dropped a sweet 8 – 10 cm at all the SkiBig3 resorts for a light powdery entry into 2025 on NY’s Day. Cold, mainly cloudy, with some sunny breaks, on Thurs. A storm brushes the Alberta Rockies on Fri PM, bringing chances of light accumulations from Lake Louise south to Castle Mountain. Ridging then moves in this weekend with dry and warmer temps into next week.
