The End Is Near

Summary

After today, there will only be three resorts open for skiing and riding. After next weekend, there will only be one. Outside of some snow/rain showers early this week, the forecast is dry for the next ten days.

Short Term Forecast

This will just be a quick update today, with not too much going on. Today is the last day for skiing and riding at Valle Nevado, and what a great season it was! Volcan Osorno, Antillanca, Corralco, and Cerro Catedral remain open through the 15th, with Antillanca just open that weekend. Corralco will stay open on weekends until the 29th following the weekend.

A weak storm will bring some snow showers to the central resorts on Monday and Tuesday, with a few cms possible. Starting Wednesday, we warm up and see a lot of sun moving forward. A very weak storm could bring a few snow showers on the weekend, but the next chance for a major storm is around there 21st.

I will keep posting on the M/W/F schedule through the 15th, and then as needed thereafter.
