Monday was mostly cloudy, and then on Monday night, the storm arrived and dropped 4-5 inches at the mid-mountain snow stake (as of 500am on Tuesday). 

These 4-5 inches are at or above the high side of the forecast range and it looks like everything lined up just right for the western I-70 mountain corridor to receive the most snow from the storm.

There should be some soft-ish turns on Tuesday morning (albeit on limited terrain), and if you're heading out, dress warmly as the temperature on Tuesday will stay in the 5-10°F range all day.

While the steadiest snow should end on Tuesday morning, snow showers will reform on Tuesday during the midday and afternoon and these could deliver another dusting to 2-3 inches of snow.

After the storm…

• Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high temperature in the 20s.
  
  
• Thursday will be mostly sunny and warmer with a high temperature in the 30s.
  
  
• Friday and Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high temperature in the 30s.

Then the next storm cycle should begin on or around Sunday, November 24, and we could see snow through the first half of the Thanksgiving week. While it's too soon to lock in snow totals, I am cautiously optimistic as this storm should pull a lot of moisture from the Pacific Ocean, and a lot of moisture can translate into a lot of snow. This means that we could start Thanksgiving week with powder.
