Saturday dumpage!

Summary

It's nuking snow on Saturday with about 6 inches in the 3 hours between 5 am to 8 am, and the dumpage will continue through the afternoon.

Update

Saturday

On Friday night, we saw about 1 inch of snow, and then on Saturday morning, the atmosphere is going bananas with about 5 inches of accumulation in 2 hours between 5 am and 7 am.

We'll continue to see intense snow through Saturday mid-afternoon with 5-10+ inches of additional accumulation on top of the 5-6 inches that has accumulated as of 9 am. Enjoy this late-season powder day, and the snow quality should be somewhat colder and a little less dense higher up on the mountain.

Sunday

Sunday will be a mix of sun and showers. The first runs of the morning could be in colder snow, and then the higher April sun angle will take a toll on the snow quality.

Longer Range

Monday and Tuesday should be dry, then we'll see showers from Wednesday to Friday with maybe low-end snow accumulation.

Next Update

I'll update again on Sunday morning, and while the mountain will stay open into May, my final post for the season will be on Monday, April 29.
