Storm on Thursday night, fresh snow on Friday morning
Summary
Thursday will be dry, then a fast-moving storm will bring 2-5 inches of snow on Thursday night which will create powder for Friday morning.
Update
Wednesday was a fun morning with a few fresh inches of snow and comfortable temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. Then the rest of the day was dry and mostly sunny.
Thursday will be dry with some clouds and a temperature in the 30s.
On Thursday night, a fast-moving storm will bring snow between Thursday at sunset and Friday at sunrise. While the most recent forecasts have shifted the storm's track a little bit to the east, I still think 2-5 inches is a reasonable forecast and we should wind up with some powder for Friday morning's first chair.
On Friday, the temperature in the morning will be chilly with a reading in the teens, though the high sun angle of late April will quickly warm the temperature into the 20s and turn the new snow to mush by later in the morning or midday.
Saturday, April 29 to Tuesday, May 2 will be dry and warm with a high temperature in the 40s and 50s.
Our next chance for some weather will likely be later next week, between about May 3-5.
