Cold, Cloudy, a Few Flurries through Fri / Light Snow Returns Fri PM – Sat

Summary

The South Rockies’s Castle Mountain took advantage of its proximity to a storm tracking through Montana, pulling in 15 cm over the past 2 days. A surface ridge and a cold NW flow will keep the skies cool and mostly dry from NY’s Eve through Fri at the SkiBig3 resorts, Nakiska and Marmot Basin. Castle, more flurries. A weak storm on Fri PM - Sat AM brings a chance of more widespread light snow.
