Snow Recap

The storm delivered on Monday night with the mountain reporting 6 inches on Tuesday morning.

The snow stake cam was offline during the storm so I don't have visual confirmation to share. This snow report is lower than I anticipated, especially with all other mountains surrounding Breckenridge reporting 10-18 inches and Hoosier Pass receiving 9-10 inches.

Tuesday

Snow will now continue to fall on Tuesday morning ahead of any remaining snow showers coming to an end around midday. Expect temps in the 20s and gusty winds for first chair. Get out there early and take advantage.

Wednesday

Clearing skies on Tuesday night will lead us into partly sunny skies on Wednesday. Temps will climb into the upper 20s to low 30s, though gusty winds and increasing cloud coverage will likely limit any spring skiing conditions.

Thursday - Saturday

We'll then receive off-and-on high-elevation snow showers from Thursday through Saturday. The rain/snow line will hover around 9-10,000 feet so expect a rain/snow mix near the base area and a denser snow quality up high.

Sunday & Beyond

We'll then be tracking dry conditions to end the weekend as sunny skies should prevail on Sunday. Temps will also rebound into the upper 30s to low 40s on the mountain.

Looking further ahead, we'll likely receive a few days of dry weather early next week ahead of snow showers here and there through the final stretch of April. A pretty classic pattern for April. There are also NO signs of significant snow anytime soon so take advantage of this fresh snow on Tuesday.
