Tuesday

On Tuesday, the snow stake is dry and it'll be another warm day.

The high temperatures will be around 40°F and winds will be a little gusty with speeds of 20-30 mph at the summit.

Wednesday

Wednesday will be dry, temperatures will be a little cooler with a high in the mid-30s, and winds will gust to 40-50 mph.

On Wednesday night, a storm tracking to the north of Colorado should deliver some flakes, and 1-3 inches seems like a reasonable snowfall estimate as most models show minimal precipitation.

Thursday

Thursday could start with a bit of new snow that fell on Wednesday night, then the day will be dry with a high temperature in the mid-30s and manageable winds that gust to 25-35 mph.

Friday

Friday will be the final day of warmer temperatures and gusty winds. Like earlier in the week, the high temperature should be in the mid-30s and wind gusts could reach 40-50 mph.

On Friday night, a fast-moving storm will bring snow from Friday sunset to Saturday sunrise. This storm will deliver the most snow to northern Colorado, and a multi-model average forecast shows about 4-8 inches during the nighttime hours.

Saturday

Due to the snow on Friday night, Saturday morning should offer some powder. This new snow may ski the best on top of groomers as other areas of the mountain might be crunchy underneath due to this week's soft/warm snow freezing as temperatures cool on Friday night.

Saturday's high temperature will be in the upper teens to low 20s, and wind speeds will be slower and not an issue.

Longer Range

Sunday and Monday (February 9-10) should be dry.

Then from Friday 11-19, multiple storms will roam around the western U.S.

One or many of these storms will likely bring snow to Colorado, but I have zero confidence in the details of the forecast, so we'll sit tight for now and hope to figure out the mid-February forecast over the coming days to a week.
