Summary
The South American resort season is about to go out with a bang! One of the biggest storms of the season begins today, and will rage through Monday. Resort skiing and riding is extremely limited, but there is still a very healthy base so the backcountry is an option. Be careful though, as extreme winds and massive snowfall totals will create dangerous avalanche conditions.
