Warm and Dry Except for a Few Rain/Snow Showers Midweek

Summary

Only two remain! Corralco and Cerro Catedral are the only two resorts still open in South America, and conditions will be warm and mostly dry for the next week to ten days. A small storm will bring rain/snow showers to the northern zone mid week, but impacts will be minimal.

Short Term Forecast

There's not a whole lot to talk about, once again, with only two resorts still open and a quiet pattern moving forward. Unfortunately, one of the few resorts that was scheduled to be open this past weekend, Antillanca, had to remain close due to poor conditions.

Below is a shot from Volcan Osorno from yesterday. The snow depth is going strong up high.

As I mentioned in the weekend update, Corralco will be open the next two weekends, while Cerro Catedral will open for the last time this coming weekend.
