Taste of Winter
Summary
Our first taste of winter has left the northern and western Mid-Atlantic with a trace - 4 inches of snow reported. Cold temperatures have allowed several resorts to begin snowmaking, which is getting bases started and means winter is right around the corner. A few rain showers will affect the northern Mid-Atlantic this weekend otherwise it will be mostly clear and quiet.
