Thunderstorms Expected this Week as Monsoon Moisture Arrives

Summary

June was a very dry month across Western Wyoming, but the first few days of July will be more active as the first monsoon moisture surge of the season arrives. Moisture will arrive at the mid-levels of the atmosphere initially with mainly dry t-storms (light rain, gusty winds) on Tue & Wed followed by more numerous storms with heavy rain possible Thu-Fri as deeper moisture arrives.
