Summary
While not much action is happening in the Alps the next few days, the island of Sicily, off the coast of mainland Italy in the Mediterranean, is about to get absolutely pummeled with snow. Mt. Etna, the active volcano on the eastern side of the Island, which rises to 3357 m, is really going to get buried over the coming days.
