Wednesday

On Wednesday morning, there will be soft snow to enjoy as the mountain picked up 1 inch on Tuesday afternoon and 2 inches on Tuesday evening after lifts closed.

Most of the snow fell just after lifts closed on Tuesday evening, so conditions on Wednesday morning should be soft.

Wednesday's weather will be dry with partly sunny skies, and the temperature will start in the teens during the morning and rise to around 30°F.

Thursday to Monday

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and likely Monday will be dry and partly sunny with somewhat warmer high temperatures in the mid-30s.

On Monday, December 23, there could be a few snowflakes from a storm passing to the north, but accumulations look light (or there might be no snow).

Longer Range

The forecast becomes more promising starting around the middle of next week, and here is how it could play out:

• December 25: Perhaps a decent storm with moderate snow totals. Just in time for Christmas and the start of Chanukkah!
  
  
• December 28-30: Sometime around the weekend of December 28-29 we could see another system, or perhaps this will be two systems, or multiple days of snow, and could extend into the final week of the year.

Following a pretty dry period from late November through mid/late December, it's nice to see multiple days of snow in the forecast, even if the details are still uncertain since the storms are about 7-10 days away.
