NEW: Mini Location Maps

The new "My Location" screen and any other location screen in OpenSnow now feature contextualized weather maps based on the current conditions at that location.

These "mini maps" will populate with animated radar if precipitation is in the forecast, nearby weather stations, fire maps if we detect smoke in the forecast, and much more.

Getting Started

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the "My Location" tab.
  3. Tap the "Weather" tab on any location screen.
  4. Tap on the mini map to go full screen.

The mini maps are currently available on the website (OpenSnow.com) and in the latest version of the iOS app (App Store > OpenSnow > Update). The mini maps will be available in the Android app very soon.
