2024 New Feature Recap

We're always staying busy behind the scenes building new features to make planning your next adventure even easier.

We can't thank you enough for your direct support of OpenSnow by subscribing to All-Access. Your support fuels new features and helps us continue to grow our team.

Here's a recap of new features and enhancements that we've released so far in 2024.

My Location Screen

We’ve added a dedicated screen in the OpenSnow app for "My Location". This new screen provides the current conditions, contextualized mini weather maps, the 10-day forecast, astronomy data, recent news articles, and historical weather for your current location.

Mini Location Maps

The "My Location" screen and any other location screen in OpenSnow now feature contextualized weather maps based on the current conditions at that location. These "mini maps" will populate with animated radar if precipitation is in the forecast, nearby weather stations, fire maps if we detect smoke in the forecast, and much more.
