Summary
Another 8 inches accumulated on Wednesday night = powder on Thursday morning!
Update
Wednesday was a mixed day with some breaks of sun and some snow showers with about 1 inch of accumulation. Temperatures were chilly, only in the single digits and low teens, and the powder was cold and fluffy.
Wednesday night brought more snow with 8 inches of fluff falling at mid-mountain. This was more than I thought we'd get out of a west wind direction (not the best for Winter Park).
Now on Thursday morning, there will be a lot of soft, fluffy snow to enjoy thanks to the accumulation on Wednesday night, and temperatures are still cold will readings around 10°F.
On Thursday during the day, temperatures will rise into the 20s and we'll see a mix of sun, clouds, and maybe a few snow showers.
On Thursday night into Friday, a few more snow showers will likely hit the mountain with light accumulations (a coating to an inch or two). Friday's temperature will be warmer than the past few days with a high in the 30s.
For the weekend, Saturday will be dry for most of the day with a high in the 30s, then a fast-moving storm will bring some snow on Saturday night with perhaps 1-3 inches of accumulation by mid-morning on Sunday. And Sunday should wind up being a mixed day with snow showers, clouds, and sunshine and a high in the low 30s.
Next week will be dry (maybe a few snow showers around Wednesday, April 20th) with warm temperatures rising into the 40s each day. The next chance for a storm will be around April 23-25.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
