Dry Pattern Continues...
Summary
Mostly sunny days and spring temperatures into early next week. During the last 7 days of April, we may see some cooler air along with the chance for weak storms.
Short Term Forecast
High pressure will dominate our weather pattern through the weekend and into early next week.
That will continue the dry and mild weather. Mostly sunny days with highs into the 60s for the lower elevations and 50s for the higher elevations.
Extended Forecast
The long-range models continue to show troughing over the West Coast during the last 7 days of April.
That could bring us cooler temperatures and could open the door to weak storms dropping into the trough during the last 7 days of the month.
The ensemble mean models show light precipitation totals for a 7-day period.
We'll continue to watch the trends over the next week as we approach the possible pattern change that could start next Wednesday the 23rd. We may end the ski season for several mountains and the forecasting season with a few weak storms that could bring a little rain & snow to the mountains.
Stay tuned...BA
