Spring Storm Weds PM through Thurs PM

Summary

High-pressure hangs over the Northern Rockies through midday on Wednesday, along with warm alpine temps. A strong storm system then encroaches out of Canada and tracks S/SE into SW Montana on Wednesday PM into Thursday PM. Recent model runs bring significant storm totals to Red Lodge and slightly less amounts to Big Sky. Ridging returns on Friday and Saturday. Another storm Sunday – Tuesday.
