High Pressure Ridge with Weak Waves Pushing Over the Eastern Rockies

Summary

After our last impressive storm cycle, which brought up to 50 inches to central Montana (Showdown), 24 inches to the Wasatch, and 10-20 inches to northern Colorado, we are stuck in a blocking ridge, perhaps through the end of January. There is one storm to watch for the weekend that pushes over interior BC and the eastern Rockies. The Ridge might buckle towards the end of the month.
