Saturday Recap

We received 4 inches for Sunday morning's report, with most of this coming during the afternoon and early evening hours. The forecast was for 1-3 inches so I'll take an extra inch of fluff.

Sunday

We'll now catch a break on Sunday as we prepare for a very active week. Temps will start in the 20s and rise into the low 30s. Very mild for early December.

I can't completely rule out a stray snow shower but we should stay mostly dry through Sunday.

Monday - Thursday

Ready for another active week of snowfall?

Well, buckle up as we'll have plenty of action from Monday through Thursday morning!

We'll first be tracking light snow showers on Monday, with the healthiest totals likely remaining north of us.

It will then be game-on from Monday through Tuesday as A LOT of moisture and very good jet stream support settles in over northern and central Colorado. This should fire up short bursts of heavy to intense snowfall and 4-8 inches. Target Tuesday for free refills all day.

Following a slight break on Wednesday, we should receive one more round of snow from late Wednesday through Thursday morning. Thursday morning could be another great time to get out and enjoy a few inches of fresh snow ahead of dry weather moving in on Thursday afternoon.

Friday & Beyond

Following a very stormy week, we should catch a break from the snowfall on Friday. If you're looking for dry weather and sunny(ish) skies, plan to ski on Friday, December 9.

We'll then be tracking another round of snowfall through the weekend of December 10/11 and again into the week of December 12. This is an excellent pattern for snowfall so enjoy the goods, especially with the lack of crowds during this time of year.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for daily updates!
