A Little Action

Summary

We have a little action over the next week but nothing major. The downward spiral of snowpack is progressing along nicely! Let's take a look!

Short Term Forecast

Honestly, I am not sure this is even a forecast because the incoming "storm" isn't much of a storm. I would consider this more of a spotty thunderstorm forecast. We will see spotty thunderstorms on Friday with most of the stronger storms south of the Snake River. There could be a stronger storm or two on Saturday but there shouldn't be anything too crazy.

Models indicate there will be a splitting system on Tuesday that moves through. Most of the showers will move through quickly and be relegated to mountains north of the Snake River.

Mostly just spring thunderstorms in general forecast for the next 5 or so days! Total precipitation forecasted for the next 6 days are below:

Extended Forecast

Temperatures are still forecasted to be slightly cooler than average with drier than normal conditions over the next 15 days:

Enjoy your spring! Don't forget that the OpenSnow app is as useful in the summer as it is in the winter for planning your outdoor activities. You can see the list of summer features and how to use them here!
