Great Conditions & Fine Weather, Plus a Dusting of Snow

Summary

Victoria resorts have seen cloudy, drizzly conditions, while New South Wales enjoyed bright weather and fresh snow. High pressure brings clear skies Friday, a weak front will bring wind and light snow Saturday, then fine weather returns Sunday and Monday.

Short Term Forecast

Forecast for Friday 18th & Saturday 19th July

Friday will be sunny with light winds and good snow-making conditions. Saturday starts fine, then clouds and strong northwest winds will bring evening snow flurries above 1500m in Victoria and just high cloud to New South Wales.

Forecast for Sunday 20th & Monday 21st July

Sunday will be sunny with fading west-to-southwest breezes, followed by another sunny day on Monday with strengthening northerly winds.

Extended Forecast

Next week, a front is expected to bring strong northerly winds and a mix of rain and snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, though snow levels remain uncertain. A larger, colder storm may arrive Friday and Saturday, potentially extending into early next week, but recent storms have often faded, so here's hoping this one holds.

Thanks for reading. The next forecast will be out on Monday.
